I still have most of these in a baggie on my jewelry box. My ear holes are really  stretched out as these are very very heavy.

The Flower Collection. This is the time my shakes were getting too bad to bead so I tried using wire. There was a 911 project right after the Attack and 3 huge wreaths were placed at each site made completely of beaded flowers. These were the ones I sent.

Locker Hooking

Decided to post the crafts I do and the videos I make some where on the web.  Kind of like Flikr but more nicer I think. And I can write what ever I want about what it is I am doing once I figure out how to on here. I'm from the old days when building a web site involved writing HTML with all the tags and headers and colors and specifying which browser could see it. So WYSIWYG editors are like so new.

Thank God for Youtube or I think so many old crafts of yesteryear would be lost.

No one around here teaches these crafts. And I live in the land of the Elderly. Some places have classes but very expensive and snooty. I'd like to teach the kids in the neighborhood how to do these so they have another way to make money, possibly than the dope slinging, stealing and prostitution they see.

I did bead work for years, from my late teens to mid 30's to support myself then me and my son as a single mom. I shake to damn bad to bead anymore. I had a website up called Meeka Jades Beading back in 2002. It may still be up. If so I'll see if I can link it here or grab the pix off the site. Got the Link HERE>

Happy Crafting!
